Meet Dr. David Sanders

Dr. Sanders is a gastroenterologist with specialty training in therapeutic endoscopy. Dr. Sanders is originally from Victoria. He went to McGill University for his undergraduate degree in science and management. He went to the University of British Columbia (UBC) for medical school, and his internal medicine and gastroenterology residency. He completed his ASGE fellowship in therapeutic endoscopy in Seattle at the Virginia Mason Medical Center. 

 Dr. Sanders performs gastroscopies, colonoscopies, endoscopic ultrasounds, and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatographies (ERCP) in Kelowna. He also has trained in capsule endoscopy and deep enteroscopy.  

Dr. Sanders was awarded the Annette Elisabeth Hacking Memorial Award in Psychiatry, Dr. Donald S. Monroe Memorial Scholarship in Internal Medicine, and the H. Rocke Roberton Scholarship in Surgery.
